In this half-day interactive workshop, tailor-made for those interested in learning how to build a successful roadmap for Organizational Excellence, attendees will learn about the Shingo Model™ (USA), its 10 guiding principles, their 3 dimensions (Purpose, Process, People) and the 3 Insights of Excellence.
The principles associated with the Shingo Model™ have been very successful in transforming cultures, improving & sustaining performance of organizations in many sectors, including the manufacturing sector. Where culture transformation was accelerated by a shift in mindset, behavioral change and an improved alignment leading to improved and sustainable results. In 2000, Business Week referred to the Shingo Prize as the “NOBEL PRIZE FOR MANUFACTURING”.
Learning objectives
Attendees will be introduced to the concept of Ideal behaviors and the associated Key Behavior Indicators through practical exercises and improvement examples from Shingo Prize Recipients. They will learn how to establish and leverage the:
1- Strong relationship between principles, systems, and tools.
2- Focus on both behaviors and results to improve the bottom line.
3- Drive ideal behaviors through business and management systems and their alignment with correct principles.

Dr. Shingo distinguished himself as one of the world’s thought-leaders in concepts, management systems and improvement techniques that have become known as the Toyota Business System. A few words about the Facilitator- Nancy Nouaimeh
Nancy is the founder of XcelliUm Management Consultancy, the first licensed affiliate of the Shingo Institute (USA) in the Middle East and Africa. An energetic leader, mentor, and culture transformation expert with an extensive expertise in Organizational Excellence, Quality Management, and Integrated Management Systems. Nancy has a passion for the implementation of Excellence Models and Principles, her work with organizations facilitates a robust continuous improvement process and outstanding achievements. Holder of two Masters’ degrees in Total Quality Management, and in Agronomic Sciences & Bioengineering from Belgium, Nancy has published several book chapters and articles related to Risk Management, Quality and Excellence. She is a Chartered Business Excellence Expert (BEX-Ireland), Certified Organizational Excellence Specialist (OES -Canada) and is a long-term member leader of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), from which she holds three certifications (Six Sigma Green Belt, Supplier Quality, and Quality Audits certification).
In addition, she has 10 years of experience in National, International and Government Excellence Awards. In 2022, Nancy was Awarded the Global Women in Leadership Award from GCPIT. But what she is most proud of as a mom, is her two amazing adolescent triathletes, a living example that “Excellence is a Habit”.
